The most powerful Ghost model costs Rs 30 lakh more than the 'standard' Ghost
Rolls Royce has launched the V-Specification Ghost at Rs 4.66 crore ex-showroom Delhi, Rs 30 lakh more than the standard Ghost trim. This is a limited Edition model that will be produced only till June 2014, and considering they are all meticulously hand-crafted cars, don’t expect too many to be built in the four remaining months. Exclusivity taken to another level then!
Trying to justify the V-Spec Ghost’s mere Rs 30 lakh premium, besides the limited numbers it will be produced in, is about 30 PS extra power on tap. The V is the most powerful Ghost in Rolls Royce line-up. Under the hood is the same twin turbo 6.6-litre V12 engine doling out 601 PS of power. The V-Specification can propel the exquisite beast to 100kph from standstill in 4.7 seconds.
Rolls Royce has added five special paint shades to the V-Specification palette although buyers can select from the rest of the RR paint shade book aiding to the customization on these bespoke beauties. Special V motifs are used all around the car to state its exclusivity – from the leather seats to the coachline on the exterior. The V also gets massive 21 inch 5-spoke part polished alloy wheels. The interior gets distinct door sills, contrast piping on the seats and a stainless steel V-motif on the dashboard. The clock design is new as well with a black crown surrounding the face.
