Jaguar has started working on its latest model, the C-X75, supposed to be powered by microturbinetechnology that is still in the developmental stages. But this hardly existing technology would be the main highlight of the vehicle, according to the automaker.
The automaker said that instead of microturbines, the new model will be powered by a 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine that can generate over 500 horsepower via forced induction. The direct-injected powerplant mixed with turbocharger and supercharger that works with front and rear electric motors would send a power of about 500hp to the rear wheels.
Is this McLaren SLR Mercedes Sports Coupe Really White Gold? It Must be at US$ 2.5 Million
Super luxury sport cars such as solid gold Mercedes sport coupes , gold plated Porche 997 GT-2 coupes; and especially a gold trimmed armored plated Rolls Royce are not what one might call environmentally friendly vehicles. Even if the white gold Mercedes does run on biofuel, its no more green than scores of super luxury cars tooling around desert highways in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and other similar locales.

The new 30-storey Hamilton Scotts building in the ritzy Orchard Road area has a biometrically controlled lift for cars, which will deliver the vehicles to the “en suite sky garages”, glass cases for cars next to the living room.
Here we have a flock of super cars arriving by plane at Shanghai Hongqiao Airport from London. The collection is extremely impressive with a Lamborghini Reventon, a Jaguar XJ220, a Gemballa Mirage GT, a McLaren MP4-12C and an Aston Martin One-77. The cars were destined for the famous Chinese super car broker FFF Automobile.
Interestingly all cars except the McLaren seem second hand, which means FFF must have some friends at customs because normally the import of second hand cars is very forbidden in China, no matter how super they are. We don’t care if they were 100th hand, super cars are super cars, here they are:
