Rolls-Royce has released the first teaser photo of its facelifted Ghost sedan, or Ghost Series II as the British carmaker elegantly calls it. Rolls-Royce is known for not operating major styling changes when its models reach their mid-life, and that was confirmed two years ago when the Phantom Series II models were introduced.
The same approach is expected for the Ghost as well, especially since the facelift comes much sooner for the BMW 7-Series-based sedan than for the Phantom. The brand’s flagship sedan saw its first restyling nine years after its introduction, while the Ghost has only entered its fifth year on the market.
The teaser photo released by Rolls-Royce was joined by a short description saying: “After five years as the cornerstone of Rolls-Royce’s sustainable growth success worldwide, this mid-life update is a showcase for the most recent technological advances from Rolls-Royce enrobed in a considered exterior design revision.”
Since the Middle East is one of Rolls-Royce’s most important sales markets, the company’s Bespoke division is preparing the launch of the 1001 Nights Collection, dedicated to this region. The final stage of the limited edition collection reveals intricate embroidery and arabesque-inspired wood inlays.Rolls-Royce offers a sneak peek into the upcoming collection through a video that shows the carmaker’s craftspeople at work.
The collection is exemplified on a computer-generated bi-color Rolls-Royce Ghost. You can check out how much craftsmanship is invested in this project by watching the official video posted below.
