Car Crash: Lamborghini Murcielago Burned Down After Crash

A Lamborghini Murciélago has been written off due to a crash, followed by a fire. The accident occurred last Saturday in Michigan, where the Italian sports car lost control, slided into a line of trees and burned to the ground.

Luckily the driver escaped with only a bump on the head, but the police has started an investigation which could cause the driver some headache. Two witnesses reported the Lamborghini was racing a “red or orange Toyota-type passenger vehicle” which didn’t stop to help the crashed car.

The local Sheriff’s Department hopes complete its investigation by the end of the week. What’s left of the Lamborghini is heap of burned down parts once worth $354,000.
