Jaguar Land Rover inaugurates new outlet in Bhubaneshwar

The luxury carmaker, Jaguar Land Rover, has opened up a new dealership in Bhubaneshwar, Odisha

Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) has inaugurated a new dealership, Lexus Motors, in Bhubaneshwar. The company thus announced its entry in the state of Odisha with the launch of this new car showroom.

 The new showroom is located at Pratapnagari, P.O, Bhanpur, NH5 Cuttack-Bhubaneshwar Road. This new outlet is a fully integrated 3S facility, designed to provide quality sales and after-sales services to JLR customers. An entire range of Jaguar and Land Rover products will also be showcased in this showroom. This new facility will also house a car workshop.

Rohit Suri, Vice-President, Jaguar Land Rover, India, says, “Jaguar Land Rover has strengthened its presence in India across tier 1 and tier 2 markets, through the introduction of products and launching service centres that have been very well received by our valuable customers. The inauguration of the Bhubaneshwar facility, our second showroom in Eastern India reflects our commitment to the market and raises the bar for customer experience.”

Jaguar Land Rover started its first outlet in the country back in June 2009. Ever since, the firm has fully operational sales and service centres in various cities such as Ahmedabad, Aurangabad, Bangalore, Coimbatore, Cuttack, Chennai, Delhi, Gurgaon, Hyderabad, Indore, Jaipur, Kolkata, Kochi, Ludhiana, Mumbai and Pune. With the inauguration of this new showroom in Odisha, the British carmaker has now expanded its dealership network to 19 facilities pan- India.

Land Rover to introduce two new pack options for Defender in Geneva

Land Rover will launch two new packs- the Black Pack and Silver Pack for their iconic Defender at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show

Every year the Geneva Motor Show plays host to several new car launches. This year, at the Swiss motor, Land Rover will unveil two new distinctive option packs- the Black Pack and Silver Pack for their iconic Land Rover Defender.

The British car maker will offer a suite of personalisation options to their customers. These include aluminium finishing to the vehicle’s side runners, contrast finishing for the leather seats, privacy glass for their Defender derivatives and an ebony Alston headliner for their XS derivates.

The black pack offers a santorini black finishing to the roof, grille, grille surround, headlamps surround, wheel arches, bonnet script and to the interior of the car. It offers variations in the wheel segment as well. A gloss black sawtooth alloy wheel and a new gloss black heavy-duty wheel are the two options from which customers can choose from.

Land Rover unveils long wheelbase Range Rover at 2014 Auto Expo

Land Rover India has introduced the 2014 long wheelbase Range Rover in the Indian market. The new long wheelbase Range Rover is one of the most luxurious and one of the most expensive SUV available in the world and its entry into India, JLR’s home market marks an important milestone in JLR’s short history in the country. The Range Rover long wheelbase is immediately distinguishable by the noticeably longer rear door, which substantially adds to the rear passenger leg space. The long wheelbase Range Rover will go up against the likes of the Bentley Continental Flying Spur and the Rolls Royce Ghost both in terms of appeal and in terms of sheer road presence. The long wheelbase Range Rover offers a variety of bespoke and customisable options to the customer making it the most expensive SUV on Indian roads. Land Rover will soon announce prices for the long wheelbase Range Rover.

Jaguar Land Rover to unveil F-Type coupe at 2014 Indian Auto Expo

JLR will also launch the long wheelbase Range Rover and the 9-speed Range Rover Evoque at the 2014 Indian Auto Expo.

Jaguar Land Rover’s enclosure at the 2014 Indian Auto Expo may well hold some of the most beautiful cars on display. Apart from the F-Type convertible, the XF and XJ sedan, Jaguar will unveil the all-new F-Type R Coupé in India. The F-Type R Coupé, comes with a hard top and a more powerful version of the 5.0-litre supercharged V8 found in the convertible. The F-Type R Coupé should be priced at around Rs 2.0 crore, ex-showroom, Mumbai, putting it up against the likes of the Aston Martin Vantage S, the Audi R8 V10+ and the Porsche 911 Turbo.

Jaguar Land Rover plans new facility in Brazil

Jaguar has signed an agreement with the State of Rio de Janeiro to build a Jaguar Land Rover manufacturing facility.

Jaguar Land Rover will become the first British carmaker to open a manufacturing facility in Brazil following a landmark agreement between the company and state authorities to build a plant in the State of Rio de Janeiro.

An agreement paving the way for construction of the plant has been signed by Phil Hodgkinson, global business expansion director of Jaguar Land Rover, and Sergio Cabral, state governor of Rio de Janeiro.
