Land Rover will launch two new packs- the Black Pack and Silver Pack for their iconic Defender at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show
Every year the Geneva Motor Show plays host to several new car launches. This year, at the Swiss motor, Land Rover will unveil two new distinctive option packs- the Black Pack and Silver Pack for their iconic Land Rover Defender.
The British car maker will offer a suite of personalisation options to their customers. These include aluminium finishing to the vehicle’s side runners, contrast finishing for the leather seats, privacy glass for their Defender derivatives and an ebony Alston headliner for their XS derivates.
The black pack offers a santorini black finishing to the roof, grille, grille surround, headlamps surround, wheel arches, bonnet script and to the interior of the car. It offers variations in the wheel segment as well. A gloss black sawtooth alloy wheel and a new gloss black heavy-duty wheel are the two options from which customers can choose from.
The silver pack on the other hand adds bright silver finishing to the vehicle’s roof, grille surround, headlamps surround and the interior facia. The car also features the dual-finished alloy wheels as standard and a bright light pack incorporating white tail and indicator lights.
The Defender derivatives will now be available with privacy glass options, which comes standard as part of the black pack. This option will add darkened glasses to the second and third row windows on the station wagon, and to the alpine light and rear quarter light windows on the Hard Top XS. The rear door will retain the standard glass due to visibility norms. The ebony Alston headliner which was traditionally seen on the Range Rover will also be a part of the Defender now.
